The Notification & Task Center is designed to help drivers easily manage important updates and actions in one convenient place. It offers a clearer, more intuitive experience by removing notifications from the homepage and displaying them in a dedicated feed.
What is the Notification & Task Center?
The Notification & Task Center is a new page in the Brightmile app where drivers can view all recent notifications and tasks. Instead of navigating through multiple screens, you can now access everything from one centralised feed.
This update addresses key usability improvements:
- Task Prioritisation – easily spot and complete important tasks.
- Homepage Focus – the homepage remains focused on your driving behaviour.
- Clear Alerts – new notifications are easier to notice and access.
- Notification History – view recent alerts to stay informed, even if using the app intermittently.

Where can I find the Notification & Task Center?
The Notification & Task Center is accessible via a new fifth tab on the bottom navigation bar of the app.
When new notifications or tasks are available, the icon will update to indicate unread items.
How is the Notification & Task Center structured?
The page is divided into two sections:
Tasks
Tasks require action from you. Each task includes:
- Group type (e.g. Vehicle Check, Mileage Manager)
- Time since the task was issued
- Due date (if applicable)
- A direct link to complete the task
Notifications
Notifications are informational updates. These do not require action but are important to review. Each notification includes:
- Group type
- Time since the notification was sent
- A link to more information (if available)
What types of tasks and notifications will I receive?
Notifications and tasks are grouped by category to help you quickly identify the context. Current groups include:
- Onboarding
- Mileage Manager
- BrightRewards
- Leaderboards
- BrightCoach
- Odometer
- Vehicle Check
- Permissions & Optimisation
- Brightmile CSM (custom)
What’s changed on the homepage?
With the launch of the Notification & Task Center, notifications have been removed from the homepage. This ensures your homepage is focused solely on driving behaviour insights and performance summaries.
Will older notifications still be visible?
Yes, you’ll be able to view a history of recent notifications and tasks in the Notification & Task Center. This is especially helpful if you haven’t used the app for a few days and want to catch up on what’s new.
